Startup Error Messages
Effect. The distributor fails to start up.
Recovery. Correct the specified syntax or range error.
Cause. The distributor does not support the version of the specified file.
Effect. The distributor fails to start up.
Recovery. Recompile the filter or use a distributor of a matching version.
Cause. The destination specified is not compatible with this type of distributor.
Effect. The distributor fails to start up.
Recovery. Check that the specified destination and distributor type are compatible.
For example, TEXTOUT can only be specified for a printing distributor. TARGET can
only be specified for a forwarding distributor.
Cause. An autostop value is specified outside of the valid range from -1 through 9999.
Effect. The distributor fails to start up.
Recovery. Specify a valid autostop time.
Cause. A backup CPU number is specified outside of the valid range from 0 through
15.
Effect. The distributor fails to start up.
Recovery. Specify a valid backup CPU number.
Cause. A collector retry value is specified outside of the valid range from 1 through
9999.
Effect. The distributor fails to start up.
Recovery. Specify a valid collector retry value.
Cause. A EOF delay value is specified outside of the valid range from 0 through 9999.
