ACTIVATE Command
Considerations
The command is rejected with an error if the line is in the DIAGNOSING state.
A warning is returned if the line is in the STOPPED state.
All application OPEN requests are aborted.
ACTIVATE Command
The ACTIVATE command is a sensitive command that activates a line that is in the
suspended state.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to go to the specified file.
file-spec must be a partially or fully qualified file name. If you do not specify this
option, the output goes to the home terminal.
object-name
is the name of the line to be activated. To activate more than one line, place the
lines in parentheses and separate them with commas.
Example
The following command activates the line $ACPXF1.
Considerations
The line must be in the suspended state for this command to be executed; the
command is rejected with a warning if the line is not in the suspended state.
ADD Command
The WAN subsystem ADD command is a sensitive command that is used to define a
WAN subsystem object to the configuration database.
ACTIVATE [ / OUT file-spec / ] LINE object-name
