ALTER LINE Command
EXTENDEDCONTROL
specifies the selection of a basic or extended control field for frames transferred on
the communication link.
FLAGFILL
specifies whether flag characters are transmitted continuously between frames.
FRAMESIZE
specifies the maximum size, in words, of read and write buffers for the line.
IDLECMDRR
specifies that an RR frame is sent at specific intervals on an ABM line that uses the
primary address with the P/F bit not set.
IDLETIMER
specifies the time between polling cycles for a primary station. For combined
stations, specifies the time between RR frames on an idle line.
INTERFACE
specifies the electrical interface to the line (RS-232 or RS-449).
