ALTER LINE Command
STATION
specifies whether the station is primary or secondary.
SWINCARRIER
specifies that CD is expected to rise before a remote station starts a transmission,
and is expected to fall once the remote station completes the transmission.
SWITCHED
specifies whether a switched line modem operation is selected.
SWOUTCARRIER
causes the line to be monitored for CD. The absence of CD indicates that the
monitoring station is free to transmit.
THRESHOLD
specifies the total command reject errors (CRC errors) and retries that trigger the
asynchronous reporting of line-quality statistics.
TWS
specifies that for full-duplex modem operation, the line is configured for two-way,
simultaneous frame transmission.
