STATS Command
Considerations
•
EnvoyACP/XF does not support the SEL or SUB options.
•
A non-error completion of the START command indicates only that the subsystem
was able to initiate processing for the START operation. It does not necessarily
indicate that the operation completed successfully.
•
A warning is issued if the LINE is already in the STARTED state.
STATS Command
The STATS command is a nonsensitive command that displays statistical information
for the specified line and the time the statistics were last reset.
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to go to the specified file.
file-spec must be a partially or fully qualified file name. If you do not specify this
option, the output goes to the home terminal.
object-name
designates the line whose statistical information is to be displayed. If you omit
object-name, the statistics for the assumed line are displayed. (See “ASSUME
Command,” in the SCF Reference Manual for G-Series RVUs.)
RESET
clears all the statistics counters to their initial values after the statistics are
displayed.
RESET is a sensitive option. That is, only a user who has super-group access, the
owner of the subsystem, or a member of the group of the owner of the subsystem
can specify RESET (in a STATS command).
The owner of a subsystem is the user who started that subsystem (or any user
whose application ID is the same as the server ID—the result of a PROGID option
that requires super-group access).
Examples
Example 5-18, STATS LINE Command, on page 5-30displays statistical information for
a line named $ACPXF.
