SWITCH Command
CPU cpu-number
selects the new the processor number. With conventional TCP/IP, CPU forces the
processor and path switch; cpu-number must be the processor of the backup
process. With PTCPIP, CPU forces the processor switch without changing the
path; cpu-number must be the processor of the backup process.
PATH A | B
selects the new path for the process. With conventional TCP/IP, PATH forces the
processor and path switch; A and B must not be the same as the path currently
used. With PTCPIP, PATH forces the path switch without changing the processor;
A and B must not be the same as the path currently used.
Examples
The following command changes the process $ACPXF to path A.
The following command changes the process $ACPXF to processor 2.
Considerations
When you execute this command, the final summary state remains unchanged.
When you specify a path or the processor in which the process is already running,
the command is rejected with a warning.
In a single command, you can specify only one of the attributes.
For cpu-number, use the backup processor number.
