Profile Files and Associated Protocols
Profiles specify the characteristics for a group of communications lines. The names of
the profile files for EnvoyACP/XF communication lines are:
The profiles are shown in Appendix D, PROFILE Displays.
Required Modifiers
You must specify the following modifiers for each EnvoyACP/XF line. Your system
comes with a pre-defined profile file for each protocol that sets the following modifiers
to their default values (indicated in the modifier descriptions later in this section):
TYPE n
Identifies the process as an EnvoyACP/XF process.

PEXFAABM ADCCP-ABM
PEXFANRM ADCCP-NRM
PEXFHDLC HDLC
PEXFSDLC SDLC
Note. You cannot change the required modifiers using SCF commands to the EnvoyACP/XF
subsystem or through SETMODE procedures; you must use SCF commands to the WAN
subsystem.
