Tasks You Can Perform Using SCF
The SCF product module for EnvoyACP/XF provides commands for both management
and monitoring tasks.
Monitoring Tasks
SCF commands for EnvoyACP/XF allow you to get information about:
The current configuration data of an EnvoyACP/XF line (INFO)
The current state of a line, including its SWAN configuration, ldev, and
processor numbers and PINs of the primary and backup processes (STATUS)
The number of I/O messages and errors on an EnvoyACP/XF line (STATS)
The version level of EnvoyACP/XF line-handler processes (VERSION)
Management Tasks
In addition, SCF commands for EnvoyACP/XF allow you to perform the following
configuration and management functions:
Restart a line that is in the suspended state (ACTIVATE)
Change values and some attributes of an EnvoyACP/XF line (ALTER)
Terminate the activity of an EnvoyACP/XF line in either a rapid or controlled
manner (ABORT/STOP)
Initiate, modify, or terminate tracing for EnvoyACP/XF lines (TRACE)
Initiate operation of an EnvoyACP/XF line and place it in the STARTED state
(START)
Cause an EnvoyACP/XF line to reject OPEN requests (SUSPEND)
Change the backup processor (CPU) and PATH used by the line-handler
process (SWITCH)
