File-System Errors
Upon completion of a file-system request, the Compaq application process should check
for the Guardian 90 file-system error codes listed in Table 10-6.
General file-system errors (Table 10-7
) are also possible.

Error Code Description
0 Operation successful
111 Operation aborted because of break
120 Data parity error.
121 Data overrun error
141 Modem error (communication link not yet established, modem failure,
momentary loss of carrier, or disconnect)
160 Request is invalid for device state; protocol error
161 Impossible event occurred for line state
170 No ID sequence received during circuit assurance mode
171 No response or invalid response received
172 Reply not proper for protocol
177 Text overrun (insufficient buffer space for data transfer)
