Application Programming With Envoy
The Envoy subsystem provides a data-link interface between transaction-oriented
applications and data communications networks that allows your application program to
use the Compaq station as a primary or secondary station in a point-to-point network or
as a supervisor or tributary station in a centralized multipoint network (Figure 1-1
).
