Envoy BISYNC Features

Envoy BISYNC Features
The Envoy BISYNC point-to-point protocol offers the following features:
ASCII or EBCDIC line code
Primary-secondary contention resolution
Automatic check-character generation, verification, and retry for erroneous
operations
Data-link control
Automatic timeouts for all line operations
Limited and multileaving conversational modes
Circuit Assurance Mode (ID exchange) for switched lines
Support for the message formats shown in Table 3-1 and Table 3-2.
The conversational multileaving mode of the BISYNC point-to-point protocol
(excluding SWIFT) also supports the message formats in Table 3-2
.
