DELETE DEVICE Command
DELETE DEVICE Command
Use the WAN subsystem DELETE DEVICE command to remove the definition of a
data communications subsystem object from the configuration database.
The command syntax is as follows:
$ZZWAN.device-name
indicates the name of the DEVICE object in the configuration database and is also
the name of the corresponding data communications subsystem object as specified
in the ADD DEVICE command. You can use the asterisk (*) to specify all
configured DEVICE objects.
Considerations
•
You must stop the DEVICE object with the STOP DEVICE command before you
can delete it.
•
Only DEVICE objects that were added with the WAN subsystem ADD command
can be deleted.
Example
-> DELETE DEVICE $ZZWAN.#ENV01
DELETE DEVICE $ZZWAN.#device-name
