INFO Command
INFO Command
The INFO command displays the current values of the attributes for lines and adapters.
This is not a sensitive command.
The command syntax is as follows:
OUT file-spec
directs SCF output generated for this command to the specified file.
LINE line-name | ADAPTER conc-name
specifies information for a particular line or adapter. If you omit line-name or
conc-name, SCF displays the attribute values for the assumed object (for
information about the ASSUME command, see the SCF Reference Manual for
G-Series Releases).
DETAIL
displays detailed information. If you omit DETAIL, you see only one line of
information for each object.
Considerations
The SUB, SEL, DEFAULT, and attribute-name options are not supported.
Wild cards are supported.
The information that you receive depends upon the line protocol that you use.
Envoy performs an I/O operation to get the information from the I/O adapter if the
line is in the STOPPED state.
Information previously obtained from the adapter is returned if the command is
received when the line is in the STARTED state. Information is obtained from the
adapter at the following times:
°
At initialization
°
When an I/O power or CPU power-on condition is detected
°
When the line changes from STOPPED to STARTED state
°
When the line is in the STOPPED state and an INFO ADAPTER command is
received.
