STATUS LINE Command
STATUS LINE Command
The STATUS command displays information about the current state of lines, such as the
dynamic state, the backup I/O address, and other relevant subsystem-specific attributes
and values. This is not a sensitive command.
The command syntax is as follows:
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
LINE line-name
designates the line whose status information is to be displayed. If you omit line-
name, the status of the assumed line is displayed (for information about the
ASSUME command, see the SCF Reference Manual for G-Series Releases).
DETAIL
if present, returns complete status information. If you omit DETAIL, you see only a
single line of data for each object name.
Examples
The format of the display for the STATUS LINE command without the DETAIL option
is shown in Example 5-12.
Name
indicates the name of the line.
State
is the current summary state of the LINE object.
LDEV
is the logical device number of the line.
STATUS [ / OUT file-spec / ] [ LINE line-name ] [ , DETAIL ]
