Envoy Event Messages
This section describes the content and meaning of all event messages generated by the
Envoy subsystem.
In this section, object types and all tokens and their values are represented in Data
Definition Language (DDL).
Subsystem Processes That Report Events
The Envoy subsystem process generates its own event messages, common data
communications (ZCOM) event messages, and common diagnostic ZCDG event
messages. Table B-1 lists the event messages defined by Envoy.

5: ZENV-EVT-IOPROCABENDMESS The I/O PROCESS has abended.
6: ZENV-EVT-INTERNALERRMESS An internal error was detected.
1000: ZENV-EVT-UNKWN The generation of an unknown or undefined
event was requested.
1001: ZENV-EVT-BADEIOSTATUS An I/O error occurred during data transfer.
1002: ZENV-EVT-BADIIOSTATUS An interrupt error occurred during data
transfer.
1003: ZENV-EVT-BADIIOCAUSE An interrupt was detected on completion of
a data transfer I/O. The interrupt cause did
not match any of the expected interrupted
causes.
1004: ZENV-EVT-STATS-LINE Communications line errors have exceeded
the designated threshold value or have been
closed, and non-zero device statistics have
been recorded.
1005: ZENT-EVT-TRACE A Trace command was issued or an error
occurred during a trace.
1006: ZENV-EVT-CONFIG-CHG The configuration parameters have changed.
