This modifier applies to BSC lines only. It specifies that the carrier wait to drop before
raising CA.
CTLR6297

This modifier applies to BSC lines only. It causes the KATAKANA character set to be
used. Inbound data is translated from KATAKANA to ASCII. Outgoing data is
translated from ASCII to KATAKANA.
KATAKANA appears automatically when you specify the CTLR6297 modifier.
Once this modifier is added to the device record, it can only be removed by using the
SCF ALTER DEVICE command with the RESET modifier option.
