PPNSW for SIMPLEX and ASC lines
Units: Not applicable
Range: Not applicable

The SWITCH modifier is removed when you specify the MPTRIB modifier.
MPWACKSEL
Default: Not specified
Units: Not applicable
Range: Not applicable
Alternate modifier: None
This modifier applies to BSC lines only. It causes the Envoy subsystem to transmit ENQ
continuously on a multidrop line if a WACK response is received to a SELECT request.
MPWACKSEL is used only for multipoint supervisory lines; it does not apply to point-
to-point lines.
If not specified, the Envoy subsystem returns file-system error 169 (WACK received as
the text acknowledgment) to the application.
Once this modifier is added to the device record, it can only be removed by using the
SCF ALTER DEVICE command with the RESET modifier option.
MPWACKTEXT
Default: Not specified
Units: Not applicable
Range: Not applicable
Alternate modifier: None
This modifier applies to BSC lines only. It causes the Envoy subsystem to transmit ENQ
continuously on a multidrop line if a WACK response is received to text transmitted by
the Envoy subsystem. MPWACKTEXT is used only for multipoint supervisory lines; it
does not apply to point-to-point.
If not specified, the Envoy subsystem returns file-system error 174 (WACK received in
response to a line bid (SELECT)) to the application.
Once this modifier is added to the device record, it can only be removed by using the
SCF ALTER DEVICE command with the RESET modifier option.
