MULTI

This modifier specifies that the process which controls the $dev-name also controls
this line.
Although it is possible to have the same process control different types of Envoy lines by
using the MULTI modifier, you should not mix asynchronous and byte-synchronous
lines.
MULTILEAVING
Default: Not specified
Units: Not applicable
Range: Not applicable
Alternate modifier: None
This modifier applies to BSC lines only. It is used to specify multileaving mode.
Once this modifier is added to the device record, it can only be removed by using the
SCF ALTER DEVICE command with the RESET modifier option.
NOCHECK
Default: CHECK

Range: Not applicable
Alternate modifier: CHECK
This modifier applies to SIMPLEX and ASC lines only. It disables incoming message
parity checking.
This modifier can be altered using the SETMODE 16 procedure, as follows:
