Modifier Descriptions
PPSW
Default: PPNSW for SIMPLEX and ASC lines; MPSUPV for BSC, ADM, and TINET
lines

Alternate modifier: PPNSW, MPSUPV
This modifier applies to all Envoy line types. It specifies a point-to-point, switched line.
The SWITCH modifier appears when you specify the PPSW modifier.
PRIMARY
Default: PRIMARY for BSC lines; SECONDARY for ADM, TINET, and ASC lines
Units: Not applicable
Range: Not applicable
Alternate modifier: SECONDARY
This modifier applies to BSC, ADM, TINET, and ASC lines only. It specifies that the
point-to-point line is a primary station.
PROGRAM n
Default: C0018P00 for BSC lines; C0017P00 for ADM, TINET, SIMPLEX, and ASC
lines
Units: Not applicable
Range: Not applicable
Alternate modifier: None
This modifier applies to all Envoy line types. This modifier identifies the specific
microcode file where the data link control (DLC) task is located. The microcode file is
downloaded to the SWAN concentrator communications line interface processor (CLIP)
when the line is started. The file must be present in the current $SYSTEM.CSSnn
subvolume.
