Modifier Descriptions
TPAUSE

Alternate modifier: None
This modifier applies to SIMPLEX and ASC lines only. It causes the communications
line interface processor (CLIP) to monitor for SCTS during data transmission. If the
SCTS signal is present, the CLIP resumes transmission when SCTS is dropped.
Once this modifier is added to the device record, it can only be removed by using the
SCF ALTER DEVICE command with the RESET modifier option.
TRACE
Default: TRACEOFF

Alternate modifier: TRACEOFF
This modifier applies to all Envoy line types. It causes the Envoy subsystem to begin a
trace when the Envoy line-handler process is started. The trace file is located in
$nnn.ZENVTRnn.line-name where the volume is that contains the Envoy program file
and nn is the processor number. This modifier should only be used for debugging
purposes.

a trace when the Envoy line-handler process is started.
