SUSPENDED
An Envoy line enters the SUSPENDED state when the line-handling process cannot
download CLIP code to the SWAN box successfully and if the line state was
SUSPENDED or STARTED previously. In this state, if the line-handling process gets
the controller power ON or processor power ON signal, it again downloads the CLIP
code and tries to start the line.
The SUSPENDED state supports a multi-system environment. In a multi-system
environment, a single command (SCF START SERVER) from one system will bring up
the line, putting the line on the other system into a SUSPENDED state at the same time.
The line commands INFO, STATS, START, STOP, ABORT, TRACE, and NAMES work
normally in the SUSPENDED state. The ALTER LINE command is not allowed in
SUSPENDED state.
