Examples
The following is a sample of output of the INFO command used on EMS Analyzer’s
own distributor with the default filter (EMSAFLTR).
Distributor type is the type of distributor (CONSUMER, FORWARDING,
or PRINTING).
Filter is the name of the filter to be used when searching for events.
Emslog is the name of the EMS events source file.
Coll log is the name of a collector log file. This is displayed only if the
distributor is in collector mode.
Current log is the name of the current collector log file. This is displayed only
if the distributor is in collector mode.
EventDB is the name of an Enscribe data base or CSV file. The selected events are
written to this file.
EventDB type is the type of the data base or CSV file. It can be Enscribe, CSV,
or blank if a value is not specified for the EventDB attribute.
EventDB extents is the current default values for Primary and Secondary
extent size, and for Maximum number of extents. These values are assumed when
creating a new database or CSV file if values are not specified for the extents
options.
Format is the display format of the selected events on the current output
destination. It can be TEXT, TOKEN or both. TOKEN can have the DETAIL option.
