STATUS
Considerations
Information provided by this command is similar to what EMSDINFO provides at the
TACL prompt.
Examples
This is a sample of output for a consumer distributor (collector mode).
•
Distributor type is the type of distributor (CONSUMER, FORWARDING,
or PRINTING).
•
Filter is the name of the current filter to be used when searching for events. The
default filter for EMS Analyzer is EMSAFLTR.
•
PPID is the number of the CPU in which the primary process for the distributor is
running.
•
BPID is the number of the CPU in which the backup process for the distributor is
running if a backup exists. For the EMS Analyzer distributor, the backup CPU is not
configured.
•
Priority is the current execution priority of the distributor.
•
Last error is distributor error number last returned to a process communicating
with the distributor programmatically.
•
Current position is the log time (in local civil time) of the event message
last examined by the distributor.
•
Emslog is the name of the EMS log file from where the event messages are
sourced.
