Error Messages
EMSA 30501
Cause. The distributor reached an end-of-file position before another event message
passed the filter.
Recovery. This is a warning. No specific action is required.
Error Messages
The following listing defines the errors encountered and displayed when using EMS
Analyzer.
EMSA 20001
Cause. When an OBEY file invokes another OBEY file this is called nesting. This error
indicates that the maximum number of times this can be done has been exceeded. This is
usually caused by an OBEY file that invokes itself directly or through a chain of OBEY
commands.
Recovery. Find the OBEY command that caused the recursive loop.
EMSA 20002
Cause. This error means that the call to the NonStop Kernel procedure VERIFYUSER
has failed.
Recovery. Consult your system manager.
EMSA 20003
Cause. The specified command can be used only while the input and output of EMSA
is directed to your terminal.
Recovery. Remove the command from your OBEY file.
End of file was reached on EMS source file
Maximum number of nested OBEY files (<n>) exceeded
Can not obtain default volume and subvolume
This command is only valid in interactive mode
