Interprocess Communication Error Messages
-00038
Cause. The command power specified on the command was insufficient to change the
state of the object.
Recovery. Reissue the command with a higher command power level.
-00039
Cause. The object mentioned does not support the command.
Recovery. See the subsystem documentation for a more complete description of the
cases when this object can and can not support this command.
-00040
Cause. This command has already been issued against this object and the object is
processing the command.
Recovery. None.
-00986
Cause. An attempt was made to alter an attribute that is not alterable.
Recovery. Correct the problem and retry the request.
-00987
Cause. A security error occurred. A requester must have user ID of -1 to send a REQID
token in the message buffer.
Recovery. Obtain the proper authority, if possible, and retry the request.
