Exiting EMS Analyzer
The EMSACSTM file is not executed.
The abbreviation facility is not available. Make sure you specify full commands
and attributes.
These commands are not allowed: FC, HISTORY, PAUSE, exclamation point
(!), question mark (?), and HELP (menu-mode).
For the SETPROMPT command, the DIM and REVERSE parameters are not
valid.
You should use the ALLOW command to specify how many warnings and how
many errors are allowed before stopping EMS Analyzer. If you do not change the
default values, EMS Analyzer stops after one error.
Example
Exiting EMS Analyzer
To exit from EMS Analyzer while running interactively, type the following at the
prompt:
-> exit
You can also exit EMS Analyzer by entering E (the abbreviation for EXIT), pressing
SF16, or pressing CTRL/Y.
There are several conditions that cause EMS Analyzer to exit while running
noninteractively:
When all commands specified in the startup parameters have completed, EMS
Analyzer exits normally.
If an end-of-file condition is encountered in the initial input file (such as the end of a
disk file), EMS Analyzer terminates.
If the maximum number of errors or warnings is exceeded, EMS Analyzer
terminates. The ALLOW
command can be used to set the allowable number of
errors and warnings.
Entering EMS Analyzer Commands
When EMS Analyzer successfully completes all initialization, it is ready to process
commands. It indicates this by displaying its prompt, the greater than sign (->). This
prompt can be changed with the SETPROMPT command described in Section 5,
Command Descriptions. This manual assumes either the selection of the NONE
parameter, which issues only the prompt without a command-line number, or the
OBJECT parameter, which issues the assumed object type and object name.
