RESET Command The RESET command sets one or more configuration parameters to their default
values.
RES[ET] { * | parameter [, parameter] ...}
*
sets all configuration parameters to their default values. See the list of terms under
parameter
below for a list of the configuration parameters and their default
values.
parameter
is one of the following terms:
ACU
blanks out the ACU name, with the effect that no ACU is used.
BLOCKI[NG]
sets BLOCKING to OFF.
BLOCKS[IZE]
sets the parameter to the state in which BLOCKSIZE has not been specified. In
this case, block mode operation (with or without blocking) is not allowed
unless BLOCKSIZE is specified in a subsequent SET command.
C[PUS]
If you reset CPUS, the primary process runs in the same CPU as the
Exchange/RJE command interpreter. If there is a backup process, it runs in
CPU number
primary
+ 1. If this number is greater than the number of
CPUs in your system, the backup process runs in CPU 0.
E[BCDICNL]
sets this parameter to EBCDIC OFF; the line server recognizes the EBCDIC NL
character as a record separator.
LI[NE]
sets the data communications line to an undefined state. In this case, the data
communications line to be used is not defined.
NO[NSTOP]
resets NONSTOP to the default value of OFF.
