parameter
If you omit
parameter
, the SHOW command displays the current values of the
configuration parameters. You can use the SET command to change the current
values of the configuration parameters.
parameter
is one of the following terms:
AU[TOLOGON] { ON | OFF }
If you specify AUTOLOGON ON, the logon request is not sent to the host and
Exchange/SNA waits for the host to send the BIND command.
If you specify AUTOLOGON OFF, the logon request (either a character-coded
logon command or an INIT-SELF command) is sent to the host.
The default value for AUTOLOGON is OFF.
LI[NE]
displays information about the Exchange/SNA line server. The
Exchange/SNA command interpreter must be connected to a line server for
this form of the SHOW command to work. If the command interpreter is not
connected to a line server, an error message is displayed. Use the CONNECT
command to connect the command interpreter to a line server.
#
subdevice
displays information about the specified subdevice.
subdevice
is the name
of a class of subdevices and, optionally, the unit number of an individual
subdevice within that class. The unit number must immediately follow the
subdevice class name with no intervening blanks.
The subdevice class name must be one to six alphanumeric characters, of
which the first must be a letter. It must be the name of a subdevice class that
was defined when the line server was started.
The unit number must be a number between one and the maximum number of
subdevices within the specified class that are supported by the line server. If
you specify the unit number, the SHOW command displays information about
that particular subdevice. If you omit the unit number, the SHOW command
displays information about all subdevices within the specified subdevice class.
