Organization This manual is organized as follows:
Section 1 introduces Exchange/SNA and provides an overview of how you can
use it.
Section 2 provides instruction on how to use the Exchange/SNA command
interpreter, including the use of command files to automate repetitive operations.
Section 3 describes each Exchange/SNA command in detail.
Section 4 provides instruction on how to use the Exchange/SNA programmatic
interface.
Section 5 describes the most common system procedures used with the
Exchange/SNA programmatic interface.
Section 6 describes the files that make up Exchange/SNA and provides
information on how to set up data communications lines for use with
Exchange/SNA.
Appendix A lists Exchange/SNA error and informational messages, and explains
the information you need to gather before contacting Tandem for help in solving a
problem with Exchange/SNA.
Appendix B contains the default ASCII-EBCDIC code translation table and
explains how to change the character mapping.
Appendix C describes the SNA BIND request parameters required by
Exchange/SNA.
Appendix D describes SNA type 1 function management headers.
