SNCI17E COULD NOT CREATE A UNIQUE SERVER NAME FOR SYSTEM
system-name , system-number .
Problem. The operating system was unable to create the process.
Solution. Try the operation again at a later time.
SNCI18E parameter-name HAS NOT BEEN SPECIFIED.
Problem. The indicated parameter (parameter name) must first be specified before you
can perform the operation. Typically, this error message is issued when you enter a
CONNECT command without first specifying the required configuration parameters
(LINE, HOST, and LOGON).
Solution. Specify the parameter, and then enter the command again.
SNCI19E TOTAL PRINTERS AND PUNCHES EXCEED 7
SNCI19* PRINTERS = number , PUNCHES = number
Problem. You have specified more than seven printer and punch subdevices. You can
specify at most seven printer and punch subdevices. However, the total number of
subdevices, including the console subdevice, should not be more than the number of
logical units used by Exchange/SNA.
Solution. Use the SET command and specify a smaller number of printer and punch
subdevices.
SNCI20E PROGRAM AND $ name MUST BE ON THE SAME SYSTEM.
SNC120* PROGRAM IS ON system-name, system-number
SNC120* $ NAME IS ON system-name, system-number
Problem. You have specified different systems for the PROGRAM and NAME
parameters.
Solution. Specify the same system for PROGRAM and NAME.
