Before Contacting Tandem
Exchange/SNA Messages

The history of the problem: has it happened before? If so, when, and under what
conditions? Can you reproduce it? If so, state how to reproduce the problem.
A list of any recent changes to the system, including but not limited to new or
changed configuration parameters, new or upgraded software modules, new
hardware components, or changed command files.
In addition, for the following conditions, you need to prepare the additional
information indicated.
Connection Problems. If you are unable to connect to the host, please include the
following:
Configuration information for the line. Enter the following SCF commands:
For SNAX/CDF:
1. LOG
logfilename
2. ASSUME PROCESS
processname
3. STATUS APPL
name
, DETAIL
4. INFO APPL
name
, DETAIL
5. (Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each Exchange/SNA APPL object.)

The definitions for the Exchange/SNA line, PU, and LU as specified to
ACF/VTAM and NCP (or the appropriate host applications)
A trace obtained by SET TRACE ON (to capture the BIND flow)
