Additionally, the CONTROL format displays, in hexadecimal, the
following fields:
Transmission header (TC) (partial)
SNALU status
Sequence number
Request/response header (RH)
Request/response unit (RU)
EB[CDIC]
displays the trace records in EBCDIC. Nonprintable characters are
displayed as periods.
FL[OW]
displays one line for each trace record. Each line contains the following
information:
Transmission header (partial)
Request/response header
Function management header (if any)
Lines with right-facing arrows represent frames transmitted from
Exchange/SNA to the host. Lines with left-facing arrows represent frames
transmitted from the host to Exchange/SNA.
HE[X]
displays the trace records in hexadecimal. Each word (16 bits) is
displayed as four hexadecimal digits.
The HEX format displays the state of the following SNA finite-state
machines:
Session control (SC)
Data traffic (DT)
Bracket state machine (BSM)
Half-duplex flip-flop state machine (HDX_FF)
Chain state machine (CHN)
Function management state machine (FMS)
Additionally, the HEX format displays the following fields:
Transmission header (TC) (partial)
SNALU status
Sequence number
