RESET Command
Exchange/SNA Commands
104700 Tandem Computers Incorporated 3–43
TH[ROTTLE]
resets the delay value to zero seconds.
TRAC[E]
sets TRACE off. In this case, the trace server need not be started before the
connection with the host is established.
TRANSP[ARENT]
sets TRANSPARENT OFF. In this case, all data is sent to the host as
nontransparent data.
For a more complete description of the configuration parameters, see the SET
command later in this section.
Considerations The RESET command sets one or more configuration parameters to their default
values. The COMMAND, ENDTIMED, LOGON, LOGOFF, PRIORITY, and TRACE
parameters can all be reset while the command interpreter is connected to the line
server, although it is meaningless to reset LOGON or PRIORITY at that point. All
other configuration parameters are fixed at the time a line server is started and cannot
be changed after the line server has been started.
Examples 1. This example shows the use of the RESET command to reset the LOGON and
LOGOFF configuration parameters.
