Label the Cables
The green power-on LED at the bottom of the adapter should now be lit. If the LED
is not lit, either reseat the FCSA or install a different FCSA.
Label the Cables
1. Find the group, module, and slot of the IOAM enclosure in which the FCSA is
installed (see Figure 1-2 on page 1-3).
2. Tag the Fibre Channel cables connected to the FCSA with physical labels,
preferably at both cable ends. The label should include:
•
A description of the equipment and connector to which the cables are to be
connected.
•
The slot location of the FCSA to which the cable is connected.
•
The rack name, rack offset, and location text of the IOAM enclosure in which
the FCSA is installed.
