Download the Firmware

To download the application firmware, follow the procedure in DISK Configuration (ESS

Connection) on page 2-15.

Verify the Installation of the FCSA

To verify the installation, follow the procedure described in Verify the Installation of the

FCSA on page 2-14.

Update the Firmware

You can use both OSM and SCF to update the firmware.

On Integrity NonStop NS-series servers, you can update Flashboot Firmware and

Flash Firmware. On NonStop S-series servers, you can update Flash Boot Firmware

only; Flash Firmware is not used on the FCSA when it interfaces to NonStop S-Series

servers.
