Use OSM to Replace the Adapter
The OSM Service Connection has an interactive action to guide you through
precautionary steps and perform the necessary background checks to make sure it is
safe to replace the FCSA.
1. Log on to the system using the OSM Service Connection.
2. In the Tree pane, expand the system hierarchy to locate and select the FCSA to be
replaced.
3. Right-click on the FCSA object and select Actions.
4. In the Actions dialog box, select Replace from the list of available actions and click
Perform Action.
5. A confirmation dialog links you to online help topics that describe precautionary
steps to take before replacing the FCSA.
After performing these steps, return to the confirmation dialog box and click Yes to
instruct OSM to continue with the procedure. OSM performs a check, and then
returns another dialog box to tell you whether it is safe to remove and replace the
existing FCSA.
