About This Document
This guide describes how to install, replace, and relocate a Fibre Channel ServerNet adapter
(FCSA) in an I/O adapter module (IOAM) enclosure.
Supported Release Version Updates (RVUs)
This guide supports G06.28 and all subsequent G-series RVUs and H06.06 and all subsequent
H-series RVUs until otherwise indicated by its replacement publication.
Intended Audience
This guide is written for HP service representatives who install or maintain FCSAs in an IOAM
enclosure. The user of this guide should have knowledge of:
• The OSM Service Connection, part of the HP NonStop Open System Management (OSM)
Interface. For more information about the OSM Service Connection, see the OSM User’s
Guide or the online help within the OSM Service Connection.
• SCF for the storage subsystem.
