Fibre Channel ServerNet Adapter Installation and Support Guide (G06.28+, H06.06+, J06.03+)

NOTE: At this point, the disk most likely will not start successfully. The fibre channel cables
have not been connected to the array or to the switch ports, and the WWNs have not been
configured in the switch and array. This START only forces a download of code to the FCSA,
which results in the FCSA being able to report its port WWNs. However, if the cables are
connected using direct connect, the LUNs are configured on the array, and the ADD DISK
command has the right information, this START will successfully start the disk.
Obtain the Fibre Channel Port WWNs and Complete the FCSA to ESS Configuration Form
