OSNAME {
osname
. . .} | *
defines Operating System (OS) processes that execute from the OSIMAGE object
file. Use OSNAME to select OS process types; some cannot normally be identified
by other means. You cannot use a wild card. All OSIMAGE processes are selected
when a single * is specified. The current valid names are:
*OPERATR *RECEIVE *DP2-P *DP2-B *DP2-?P
*DP2-?B *TAPE *PRINTER *TERMINL *ENVOY
*CARDRDR *AMX25 *CRT3270 *ENVYACP *IBMLINK
*SNAX *SNALU *SNAXENC *TMF-1 *TMP
*TMF-3 *TMF-4 *HYPRLNK *IPBMON *ZNUP
*MIOP *JUKEBOX *TELNET *TCPIP *SNAXCDF
*CSM6100 *CP6100 *ATP610 *OSI *MULTLAN
*GDS *SNASDLC *AM6520 *AMTR327 *X25 *NCP
*EXPAND *EMSDIST *OSP *MONITOR *VIRTUAL
*MSENGER *LINKMON *TMFMON *0
The * symbol is part of the operating system name and must be included.
Many of these names are self-explanatory, but others require a knowledge of
operating system internals. Not all names are used on any one particular system,
and the SYSGEN output listings help indicate which processes are configured.
To find out which processes are dominant and worth further exploration, select all
OS processes for at least one run of FMH. You can view the results by choosing
the Show System Process option in Flow Map PC.
USER {
group
,
user
. . .}
specifies one or more user identity values. Wild-card notation is permitted on
each parameter and each value is a numeric string with leading zeros.
CREATORID {
group
,
user
. . .}
specifies one or more creator identity values. Wild-card notation is permitted on
each parameter and each value is a numeric string with leading zeros.
PRIORITY {
priority
. . .}
specifies one or more PROCESS priorities. Wild-card notation is permitted on
each parameter and each value is a numeric string with leading zeros.
NOT {. . .}
specifies negation items that allow specific limitations to a preceding list where a
wild card may have selected a superset.
Example
This command excludes all PROCESSes, but GROUP and INCLUDE commands
override EXCLUDE commands. This example shows how to ensure that only those
