Creating Flow Map
Reports
Flow Map Host generates a single report file that contains a maximum of seven
reports. The reports show information on the configuration, the TPDC data, the
objects generated, the contents of the CSV file, run statistics, and run progress.
The report titles are:
Configuration Listing Report
Configuration Analysis Report
TPDC Entity Report
Audit Report
CSV Contents Audit
Run Statistics
Progress Messages
Configuration Listing
Report
This report lists the user-supplied configuration and shows any resulting syntax
errors. Flow Map Host removes all the blank lines in the user-supplied configuration
and makes all lower case letters into capital letters. Error information is shown under
each incorrect line, and arrows help you pinpoint the clause, word or phrase in error.
This report is appended to the output CSV file and can be displayed by Flow Map PC
and entered as text onto flow diagrams. If any errors are detected, processing
terminates after this report.
Configuration Analysis
Report
This report is a formal layout of the configuration data and shows all the defaults that
have been assumed.
TPDC Entity Report This report lists all the entities found in the TPDC data. There may be some entities
that are not used by Flow Map. Details about the used entities can be found in the
Run Statistics Report.
Audit Report The Audit Report shows the objects that have been created and the relationships
between them. This report also helps show the relationship between partitions
(DISKFILEs) and FILE entities.
A unique number, or bubble ID, is assigned to each object generated by FMH. The
bubble ID helps identify the object and show its relationship to other objects. The
example report shows how the bubble ID follows the object type. The indentation
shows the relationship between the objects.
