Patterns The Patterns command changes the border format, fill pattern, and color for selected
objects and text boxes, as well as the format of selected connections.
Options for Objects and Text
Boxes Definition
Border Select Automatic for the default border or Custom to specify the
border style, color, and weight for selected objects or text boxes.
Do not check Shadow because Flow Map uses shadow to
indicate a grouped object.
Fill Select Automatic for the default pattern and color or Custom to
specify the fill pattern and colors for selected objects or text
boxes.
Note You must select Fill as None for the process or file object icon to be visible.
Options for Connection
Lines and Arrowheads Definition
Line Select Automatic for the default line settings or Custom to specify
the line style, color, and weight.
Arrow Head Select the desired style, weight, and length for the arrowhead of
the selected connection arrows.

Window Menu Use the Window menu to arrange or resize windows and to move among open
windows.
