Fibre Channel Disk Drive Enclosure
G06.27 supports the Fibre Channel disk drive enclosure on NonStop S-series systems.
Fibre Channel disk drives are installed in the disk drive enclosure, which is connected
to the NonStop S-series system via a Fibre Channel ServerNet adapter (FCSA) that
resides in an I/O adapter module (IOAM) enclosure. Fibre Channel disk drives are
field-replaceable units (FRUs). Any physical action on a FRU, including installation and
replacement, must be performed only by a qualified HP service provider.
Mid-Range Tape Library
G06.27 supports the mid-range tape library on the NonStop S-series systems. The
mid-range tape library has a 50 to 100 cartridge capacity. It functions in the same way
as the CTL700 (CTL700M) library but with a smaller media cartridge count, scalable
capacity, and a lower cost. The mid-range tape library requires the new N1522A Linear
Tape Open (LTO) tape drive, which is the same as the existing N1521A LTO tape drive,
except for the drive mounting hardware for use in the mid-range tape library.
