You can launch the OSM Event Viewer by either of these methods:
°
From the Windows Start menu, select Programs>HP OSM>OSM Event
Viewer.
°
From with the OSM Service Connection Tools menu, select: Event Viewer.
If you have ordered new system consoles, the OSM client-based components are
already installed.
HP NonStop Server Software Requirements
For TSM, if you have to install the most recent server SPRs, follow the instructions
in the appropriate softdocs. Depending on your current configuration, for most TSM
server SPRs, such as TSM Bind, the process might need to be aborted and then
restarted using the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF). See the appropriate softdoc
for preinstallation and post-installation details. To update processor boot code
online, you must install the G06.24 or later TSM SPRs.
Install the appropriate and prerequisite OSM server SPRs if you decide that you
want to use OSM. In G06.23, eight previous OSM SPRs were combined into one
server SPR, which is the OSM Service Connection Suite. All OSM SPRs are
available on the G06.27 SUT and on Scout. To update processor boot code online,
you must have installed and started the G06.24 or later OSM SPRs and any
prerequisites. See the T0682AAI softdoc for a complete list of problems corrected.
See the Interactive Upgrade Guide for new features and the OSM Migration Guide
for installation and configuration information.
Caution. You must have the TSM (T7945ABN or later) SPR or all the G06.24 or later OSM
SPRs and prerequisites installed and configured if you are updating boot code processor
firmware and plan to use the online boot code option. HP recommends that you install and
start these required SPRs before you build and apply the new RVU. See HS02865 for
background information on updating processor boot code.
