G06.00 and later RVUs contain spooler product version T9101D46, which introduced a
spooler control file in a new format. Although it is still a type 128 file, internally it is
considerably different from the format used in the base T9101D41 spooler. For this
reason, it is not possible to warm start a version of the spooler prior to T9101ADI with a
control file produced by the T9101D46 or D48 product version of the spooler. You must
save the control files and collection data files before warm starting the new version of
the spooler.
In G06.03, T9101D48 was introduced. Its control file is the same as the D46 product
version.
To return to the previous version of spooler:
1. Restore the control files.
2. Restore the collector files.
3. Warm start the previous version.
For detailed instructions on warm starting the spooler, see the Spooler Utilities
Reference Manual. See also Support Note S03006.
Reconfigure DSM/SCM User IDs (If Necessary)
After the FALLBACK macro is finished, any changes you made to Guardian user IDs
before the back out are lost, and you must reconfigure the user IDs again through the
DSM/SCM Host Maintenance Interface and the Target Maintenance Interface.
