TSM Server and Client Compatibility SPRs

The newest TSM server SPR is T7945ABV, and the TSM client version 2006A

(T8154G07) is compatible with T7945AAG through T7945ABV. You should always

install the latest TSM SPR and corresponding client.

If you use TSM to monitor your system, you should always install the latest TSM server

and client. For G06.30, the current TSM server SPR is T7945ABV, and the current

TSM client SPR is T8154ABJ (T006A). HP recommends that you upgrade the TSM

client before you install the G06.30 RVU. Doing so enables you to use the latest TSM

client software for G06.30 upgrade tasks. It also enables you to continue using the

latest TSM client software even if you have to fall back to an earlier RVU. TSM client

T8154ABJ (2006A) is compatible with server versions T7945AAG and later.

Follow the installation instructions outlined in the softdoc, including preinstallation and

post-installation steps.

Determining the Current Version of TSM Server Software

1. At the TACL prompt, enter:

VPROC $SYSTEM.SYSnn.SRM

2. Read the last line of the VPROC information.

The TSM server SPR for G06.30 is T7945ABV. This example shows that

T7945ABL (TSM Bind) has been installed on the system:
