Installing the Latest DSM/SCM SPRs
and Client Software
Table B-1 describes all the DSM/SCM versions introduced on G-series RVUs. Before
installing and configuring DSM/SCM, always review the T6031 softdocs and the
Interactive Upgrade Guide.
Note.
•
You can install the T6031G02 PVU client either before or after installing the T6031ABU
SPR. However, this appendix describes installing the T6031ABU SPR first on the server
side and then installing the client.
•
HP recommends that you always upgrade to the newest server SPR and client before
installing the latest RVU.
•
The latest DSM/SCM client version (T6031G02) is available only on the SUT unless you
have ordered new system consoles.
•
The DSM/SCM client version is backwards compatible to G06.18 and earlier (AAO).
•
If you fall back from the T6031ABU product version, you must run the FALLBACK macro
(unless the T6031D46^ABK SPR is installed) even if you have created Safeguard aliases
or are on a D46 PVU.
