Install the DSM/SCM Client Software
8. Enter the IP port number for the Winsock service (see Determine the Current IP
Address and Port Number on page C-14), and click Next.
You are now prompted to enter the host system name.
9. Enter the host system name (or \noname if DSM/SCM is not currently configured to
communicate with a host system), and click Next to continue.
You are asked if you would like to run DSM/SCM.
10. Click No and go to Create an ERD or ASR Disk
on page C-22.
Note. If DSM/SCM is not currently configured to communicate with a host system, accept
the default IP port number. You can always change this value later by editing the
dsmscm.ini file.
