Header Tokens
The standard SPI token shown in Table 6-3 appears in an event-message header; it is
an unconditional token:
For more information about event-message header tokens, see the EMS Manual.
Table 6-2. Standard EMS Header Tokens
Token and Token Type Data Type Description
ZEMS-TKN-CPU
ZSPI-TYP-INT
16-bit integer Identifies the processor in which GDS
was running when the event message
was generated.
ZEMS-TKN-CRTPID
ZSPI-TYP-CRTPID
8 bytes Contains the Guardian internal format
process ID of GDS.
ZEMS-TKN-EMPHASIS
ZSPI-TYP-BOOLEAN
16-bit integer Conveys an estimate of the seriousness
of the event. If the value is ZSPI-VAL-
TRUE, the event is a GDS subsystem
internal error condition. If the value is
ZSPI-VAL-FALSE, the event is a status
or warning event or an error event that is
not an internal error.
ZEMS-TKN-EVENTNUMBER
ZSPI-TYP-INT
16-bit integer Identifies the GDS subsystem event
number. This token can assume any of
the GDS subsystem event values of the
form ZGDS-EVT-eventname (for
example, ZGDS-EVT-STARTUP).
ZEMS-TKN-GENTIME
ZSPI-TYP-TIMESTAMP
64-bit integer Contains the time GDS recorded the
event in the internal log queue.
ZEMS-TKN-LOGTIME
ZSPI-TYP-TIMESTAMP
64-bit integer Contains the time the collector added
the event message to the event log.
ZEMS-TKN-PIN
ZSPI-TYP-INT
16-bit integer Identifies the primary process ID of the
GDS process.
ZEMS-TKN-SYSTEM
ZSPI-TYP-UINT
16-bit
unsigned
integer
Identifies the system where the GDS
process was running.
ZEMS-TKN-USERID
ZSPI-TYP-UINT
16-bit
unsigned
integer
Contains the user ID of the GDS
process.
