Accessing a G4SA through the SLSA Subsystem
Accessing a G4SA through the SLSA Subsystem
The SLSA subsystem provides access to the G4SA as shown in Figure 1-2. To access
a G4SA through the SLSA subsystem, you can configure the following subsystems:
Subsystems Description
TCP/IP subsystems
NonStop TCP/IP
subsystem
Parallel Library
TCP/IP subsystem
NonStop TCP/IPv6
subsystem
The TCP/IP subsystems interface the SLSA subsystem to
provide TCP/IP network connectivity. These subsystems and
utilities can be configured to access the TCP/IP subsystems:
Expand subsystem which provides Expand-over-IP
connections.
Telserv and the File Transfer Protocol (FTP), which use the
socket library to establish remote connections.
Other HP subsystems, such as Remote Server Call (RSC)
Port Access Method
(PAM) subsystem
Interfaces the SLSA subsystem to provide an independent
interface to Ethernet networks and user-written applications that
use the PAM subsystem port interface.
WAN Subsystem Interfaces the SLSA subsystem to provide Ethernet
connections to a SWAN concentrator.
