A GESA has three primary, dual-ported system connections:

Data transfer interface (ServerNet)

Diagnostics subsystem interface (Serial Maintenance Bus)
•
Power interface
Data Transfer Interface (ServerNet)
The data transfer interface consists of ports to the ServerNet X and Y fabrics. The
ports attach to an internal router that connects to the ServerNet addressable controller
(SAC) on the adapter. If one ServerNet fabric fails, the GESA can still be accessed
using the remaining fabric.
